Manual¶
Uberspace is a hosting platform targeted at people who want to look behind the scenes, do things we didn’t anticipate and generally prefer working with a text-based console.
Our objective is to not only host the content you’d like to see on the web, but also to introduce you to Linux and basic shell usage.
Uberspace 8 is currently in the public beta phase. We're working on feature parity with Uberspace 7 but are not quite there yet.
Current Release: v8.0.76 - 2026-05-29
Added:
- Outgoing mail from
@uber.spaceaddresses is now signed with DKIM, so receiving providers can verify that messages really came from us.
Fixed:
- Deleting a mailbox that was set as the domain’s catch-all address now removes the catch-all rule as well. Previously the mailbox disappeared, but the catch-all alias stayed in place and could still route mail for that domain.
Changed:
nanonow uses the default configuration shipped with the package.
Why is my version higher?
Sometimes the version shown on your host may be higher than the newest version listed here. This usually means we have applied minor internal adjustments or hotfixes shortly after a release that do not directly impact user functionality. Such updates are not always included in this changelog.
